Overview

A practical workshop designed to develop skills in text analysis, effective writing and informed participation in public debate.

The workshop combines journalism, critical reading and argumentative writing to develop practical skills in text analysis, the production of effective content, and the conduct of an informed and responsible public conversation.

By combining editorial experience with teaching practice, the course adopts a practical approach based on real texts, guided exercises and structured discussions. Particular attention will be paid to the role of the journalist as a mediator of communication and to the cultural responsibility of information in shaping the public sphere.

The workshop precedes and introduces a series of meetings with authors dedicated to three areas of significant contemporary relevance: migrant identity, the graphic novel as a narrative and critical form, and ecology as a cultural and political issue.

In this context, the workshop also serves as a tool to prepare participants for reading and engaging in dialogue with the authors, offering interpretative frameworks and analytical tools useful for active participation.

The aim is to provide transferable skills not only for the journalistic context, but for all fields in which it is necessary to read accurately, interpret critically, argue rigorously and communicate clearly.
