Who is the project aimed at?

A preparatory guidance pathway developed in collaboration with training providers and CPIA centres — Provincial Centres for Adult Education within Italy’s public education system — supporting young people in transition in identifying their transversal competences and exploring vocational aspirations, laying the groundwork for more informed and structured educational and professional choices.

Description

ABF Vocational is a short orientation and activation programme aimed at young people in training, created in collaboration with training agencies, CPIA and educational institutions in the area. The project is aimed at young people who are in a phase of research, transition or redefinition of their career path, offering a structured space to work on transferable skills and the emergence of personal and professional vocations.

The programme focuses on socio-emotional development and self-awareness as fundamental prerequisites for career guidance, supporting processes of activation, motivation and future planning. ABF Vocational represents a strategic hub within the Globalab ecosystem, facilitating access to subsequent pathways.

Course structure

  • 2 workshop sessions

Recognition

The course is recognised as PCTO subject to agreement with the relevant body or institution, or as a training experience with the issue of a certificate of attendance.

Results of the course

The project promotes vocational guidance, strengthens self-efficacy and motivates participants to pursue further opportunities, in particular ABF Talent4Work or other Globalab projects.
