The ABF GlobaLAB is an empowerment program aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 years.
What is the GlobaLab?
The ABF GlobaLAB is an empowerment program aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 years.
It is based on the awareness of the profound link between the quality of individual existence and the opportunities for relationship building, experimentation and reflection, the value of processes of research, discovery and the nurturing of talent and intelligence, both individual and that of others.
The result is the construction of the conditions to make the potential abilities of each student emerge, which offer young people opportunities for guidance and growth and the conscious construction of their plans for their own lives.
Indeed, the GlobaLAB project entails not only the empowerment of individuals, but also the enrichment of their social setting via superior, valuable opportunities for practical experiences.
Both of these two aspects will be carefully differentiated in terms of the growth opportunities offered and in terms of their relative support for contextualization, experimentation and the real measurement of the individual’s skills and abilities in complex contexts, depending on the individual.

The GlobaLab has set the establishment of a Youth Committee for San Firenze as its first objective, which will be made up of all the participants on the training course, who can in turn nominate representatives for the GlobaLab Operational Round Table to be launched in June 2022.
The round table will see the participation of names from the worlds of culture, the arts and civil society who, thanks to their life and career experience, can support the young people in entering into dialog with institutions and creating value for other young people.

What we do
GOAL: Via activities that will be scheduled throughout the whole year, create the appropriate conditions to guarantee that young students:
- Can discover and understand their aptitudes and talents
- Gain an awareness of the world and the complex reality that exists around them
- Engage in dialog, comparison and the pursuit of new meanings and perspectives for life
- Come into contact with the public, for-profit and non-profit institutions involved in ABF’s work
- Have opportunities to become leaders, both in and of themselves and within their communities in the area of their talents, by gaining experience in real relationship contexts
